Rio Carnival 2016 : Mangeira samba school wins

Mangeira samba school wins its 18th Samba title with about 4500 Participants in a colouful parade and earning them first place in
this year Rio Carnival.

To show how the higly-stakes championship is, the result were delivered to the Sambadrome in an armored Car and the fans of the Samba school
in Rio’s Mangueira favela screamed and leapt for joy as the results were read out at the stadium.
