After more than 25 Years in Power through a coup, Chadian President seeks 5th term as president and promise to relinquish power after ruling for the fifth time.

This was possible after a 2005 Referendum that scrapped  the to term limit for a president to run for office and one of the reason given “He said on Tuesday that reinstating term limits would provide “vitality” to the democracy”
